What is Mechro?

Mechro is a lightweight desktop application that plays sounds whenever you type or click. It's designed to make everyday computer use feel more satisfying without affecting performance.

Is Mechro free?

Yes. Mechro is completely free to download and use. There are no ads, no premium tiers, and no telemetry. If you'd like to support the project, the best thing you can do is join the Discord and share it.

Will it slow my PC down?

No. Mechro uses pre-loaded audio buffers and runs in the background with a very small footprint. Most users see no measurable impact on CPU or memory during normal use.

Can I add my own soundpacks?

Custom soundpack support is on the roadmap. For now, you can pick from the built-in packs, and new ones are added regularly. Follow along on Discord for updates.

Which platforms are supported?

Mechro is currently available for Windows. Support for other platforms is being explored. Join the Discord if you'd like to see it on your system.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

The fastest way is to open a ticket in our Discord server. Bug reports, feature ideas, and general feedback are all welcome and read directly by the developer.
